The lobby area looked nice and the room was clean.
Check-in was a mess and the front desk staff were rude. We heard everything outside our room which made it hard to sleep.

The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful, and made my stay delightful. The lobby and restaurant had a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. The room was modern, clean, well-supplied, and designed with accessibility in mind. I loved the convenience of having a bar/lounge area on-site. The location was great, within walking distance of Newark Penn Station and various attractions. I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience, complete with free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and excellent service.
The area around the hotel could have been quieter and more peaceful.

Choosing Tryp for its proximity to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center exceeded my expectations. The helpful customer service agents made my stay even more enjoyable, offering assistance with local attractions and providing exceptional concierge services. Dutch's, the onsite Spanish cuisine restaurant, was a delightful culinary experience, serving up delectable brunch and light fare.

The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a modern design. The location was close to Whole Foods and Penn Station for easy access to NYC. we would recommend this hotel despite a few drawbacks.

the room and bathroom were quite spacious and clean, with excellent quality sheets, towels, and amenities. the staff was friendly and check-in/out was simple. our included breakfast was good with a variety of options. we appreciated the wifi when our flight was canceled.

the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the Prudential Center for concerts. the front desk staff was super helpful and pointed us in the right direction.
